Insurance Coverage For Naturopathic Medicine

We are not contracted with any insurance companies or government run programs such, so we do not provide any insurance billing. Payment is expected in full at each appointment.

We will, however, provide you with a superbill with necessary insurance coding for all your medical consults upon request. The superbill is a statement with ICD-10 and CPT codes for each patient visit that communicates the necessary diagnostic + procedure information your insurance company needs to know.

Note: A superbill does not guarantee that an insurance provider will pay for the services provided. Each insurance plan is different, + it is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider + find out exactly what will be covered. These FAQ’s are designed to inform you + help you through this process.

For Flex Spending Accounts + Health Savings Accounts: Often, a letter of medical necessity is required for patients to access their FSA/HSA funds. If you need such a letter, please let us know.

Note: Not all FSA/HSA plan administrators will recognize naturopathic services. - visits + treatments Please check with your plan administrator first.

Preparing for your Service Visit

For Hormone Balancing consultations, lab work is required. If you have had saliva, urine, or blood testing within the last three (3) to four (4) months, please obtain copies of your results + provide them at your first visit. Otherwise, we will provide you with a lab order during your initial visit to have blood work done before scheduling your follow up appointment.

For Detoxification Therapy consultations, heavy metal testing, + lab work are required for treatment. If you had these tests done, please provide the results at your first visit. Otherwise, our office will order the necessary tests at your initial visit.

For IV Ozone therapy + High Dose Vitamin C IV therapy, blood testing is required. If you had these tests done, please provide the results at your first visit. Otherwise, our office will order the necessary tests at your initial visit to ensure Oxidative Treatment is right for you.

For other IV or Prolozone appointments, there is no pretesting required.
